Who is Amjad

Amjad is a multi-faceted entrepreneur with hands-on experience in both China sourcing and retail brand building. He is a co-founder of Scorio, a decorative lighting brand that initially sourced nearly 75% of its inventory from China, and successfully transformed those imports into branded, high-margin retail offerings across multiple showrooms.

His China journey spans remote sourcing through catalogues, on-ground learning at the Canton Fair, working with sourcing agents, managing container logistics, and navigating Indian customs. What differentiates Amjad is his ability to connect supply-side decisions with brand outcomes - helping founders understand not just how to import, but how to build trust, perception, and pricing power around those products.
